The solution for patients with DAP and/or concomitant diabetes!
Mediven angio is a medical compression sock for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency. Its unique characteristics have been developed to meet the needs of patients with mild to moderate peripheral arterial disease (DAP) and/or concomitant diabetes mellitus. It provides effective compressive therapy for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency, taking into account changes in the arterial system, as well as sensitivity disorders, especially in the area of the feet and toes (e.g. diabetic peripheral polyneuropathy).
The safety of mediven angio in the treatment of venous insufficiency in patients with DAP and/or concomitant diabetes has been proven through a clinical study:*
-Microcirculation stability
-No skin lesions
-No constrictions
-No pressure zones
-High user comfort
-Proven safety for compression classes 1 and 2.

Indications:
Chronic venous disease: C0s - C5 according to CEAP
Contraindications:
Advanced occlusive peripheral arterial disease (if present one of the following parameters: IPTB <0.5, ankle blood pressure <60 mmHg, toe pressure <30 mmHg or TcPO2 <20 mmHg on the back of the foot).
Decompensated heart failure (NYHA III + IV).
Septic phlebitis and Phlegmasia cerulea dolens.
Special attention in cases of:
Severe wet dermatosis and intolerance to compressive material.
Severe paresthesia of the lower limbs.
Advanced peripheral neuropathy (e.g. as present in diabetes mellitus) and primary chronic polyarthritis.
Product features:
Lining in merino wool all over the foot, from the fingers to above the ankle - to reduce the pressure zones and prevent injuries in the bony prominences (e.g. ankle, metatarsus joint), with flat and extra long seam for a perfect anatomical fit and optimal relieve of pressure on the toes and joints.
Cinnamon structure with high longitudinal elongation - facilitates placement and removing. Smooth coating across the bottom of the sock - from the toes to the waistline, for high comfort of use.
High waistline that ensures a firm fixation and an optimal pressure distribution, avoiding constrictions.
90° angle in the heel area that ensures a uniform distribution of fabric in the heel and instep area and two foot lengths available - for an optimal fit and additional relief of pressure on the toes. The Angio stocking is manufactured in (standard) black color, with the possibility of being manufactured in caramel color. It is only available with a closed toe cap.
