Absorbent dressing based on Calcium Alginate and hydrocolloid particles, absorbs exudate, facilitates debridement and healing, single-block removal (the dressing does not fall apart when removed), with hemostatic properties.

Indications:

It is indicated for exudative and bleeding wounds during the debridement and granulation phases.

Contraindications:

It should not be used in the endonasal cavity in rhinoplasty, third degree burns, dry necrotic tissue or eschar, surgical implants and to control profuse bleeding.

Benefits:Exudate control, vertical absorption that protects the periwound skin from maceration, healing in a moist environment, hemostatic properties, debridement capacity, easy to apply and remove, atraumatic dressing renewal, can be used under compression, clinically proven.

Action:

In contact with the exudate, an exchange of sodium and calcium ions occurs between the wound and the dressing. UrgoSorb transforms into a gel and maintains a moist environment favorable to the healing process. UrgoSorb absorbs the exudate, softens and drains necrotic debris and promotes primary hemostasis of acute and chronic bleeding wounds.
